Letter from theCEO

Dear Valued Clients, Partners, and Industry Colleagues,

When Logicraft was founded in 1994, our mission was straightforward: build software that helps aviation professionals manage fuel with precision, accountability, and confidence. For three decades, FuelCOUNTER™ has delivered on that promise — quietly powering fuel operations at airports and airlines across the globe, handling billions of gallons and millions of transactions year after year.

But the aviation fuel industry of 2025 is not the industry of 1994. And the tools we rely on must evolve accordingly.

Today, I’m writing to share something I believe is the most consequential development in Logicraft’s history: the complete transformation of FuelCOUNTER™ into FuelCOUNTER AI™ — a next-generation, cloud-native platform designed to meet the demands of modern aviation fuel management head-on.

The Industry Imperative
Fuel remains the single largest operating expense for airlines, representing anywhere from 20 to 30 percent of total costs. Even marginal improvements in validation accuracy, procurement efficiency, or inventory visibility translate into significant financial impact at scale.

Yet too many organizations still rely on disconnected spreadsheets, manual reconciliation processes, and aging software that wasn’t designed for the volume, velocity, or variety of data generated today. The consequences are real: billing disputes that drag on for months, undetected discrepancies that quietly erode margins, and operational blind spots that make strategic planning a guessing game.

Regulators and internal audit teams are raising the bar for documentation, traceability, and controls. Airline procurement teams want real-time visibility, not monthly reports. And sustainability goals are creating new demands for fuel usage tracking across fleet types and fuel categories — including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

The industry needs a platform that can keep pace. FuelCOUNTER AI™ is our answer.

The Transformation of FuelCOUNTER™
Over the past two years, our development team has undertaken a ground-up redesign of FuelCOUNTER™. We migrated from a monolithic Oracle Forms architecture to a modern microservices-based platform, deployed in the cloud and built around open API standards.

This wasn’t simply a technology refresh. It was a rethinking of the entire product — informed by years of client feedback, industry research, and a clear-eyed assessment of where aviation fuel management is heading.

The result is a unified platform that brings together airport operations, airline inventory management, and ticket processing workflows in a single, cohesive environment. Whether you’re a fuel manager at a regional airport or an airline fuel controller managing operations across dozens of stations, FuelCOUNTER AI™ will provide you with a single source of truth.

Intelligent Validation: Catching Errors Before They Cost You
One of the most powerful — and most requested — capabilities in FuelCOUNTER AI™ is its intelligent validation engine. Fuel ticket errors are an unfortunate reality in this industry. Mismatched volumes, incorrect flight references, pricing discrepancies, and supplier billing errors collectively cost the industry tens of millions of dollars annually.

FuelCOUNTER AI™ addresses this with a 7-point error check system that automatically screens every fuel ticket. The platform matches invoices to flight schedules, compares volume invoiced against volume actually delivered, flags pricing variances, and highlights anomalies — all with clear visual indicators that allow your team to prioritize and resolve issues quickly.

Our real-time KPI dashboard puts the most critical metrics front and center: tickets processed, total gallons managed, current error rates, and validation completion status — updated continuously so you always have an accurate operational picture.

Integrations That Eliminate Silos
FuelCOUNTER AI™ is designed to work within your existing technology ecosystem, not replace it. We are building native integrations with the systems our clients already rely on.

The AI Advantage: Predictive Analytics for Smarter Decisions
The name FuelCOUNTER AI™ reflects our commitment to embedding artificial intelligence where it genuinely improves outcomes — not as a marketing label, but as a functional capability.

We’re rolling out a suite of analytics tools that go beyond historical reporting: year-to-date ticket volume tracking, gallon volume trend analysis, error rate dashboards segmented by category, monthly period-over-period comparisons, and error type distribution analytics. These tools give operational and finance teams the visibility to understand not just what happened, but why — and what to expect next.

As we continue development, predictive capabilities will allow clients to model fuel demand by route and season, anticipate pricing movements, and optimize procurement timing. Our goal is to give aviation fuel professionals the same data-driven decision support that sophisticated trading operations have long enjoyed.

Our Commitment to You
Logicraft has always believed that the best software is built in close partnership with the people who use it. That remains true today. As we roll out FuelCOUNTER AI™, we are working directly with our client base to refine features, prioritize enhancements, and ensure the platform delivers real, measurable value. To that end, we want to hear directly from you about your “pain points” and better understand how to bridge those gaps using our solution.

If you’d like to learn more about FuelCOUNTER AI™, schedule a call to discuss how the platform can address your specific operational challenges. We’d be honored to show you the roadmap and to hear your vision for what comes next.

The aviation fuel industry is entering a new era of digitalization. Logicraft is ready for it, and we’re committed to bringing our clients with us.

Warm regards,
Avery J. Kraft
